Our student ministry is dedicated to encouraging you spiritually and helping you discover how God wants to work in and through your life. It is our deep desire to help you grow in your relationships with each other and with God.
4:12's purpose is to encourage teenagers to live a life that commands people to take notice not of their age, but of their character as followers of Jesus Christ by how they speak, how they act, how and what they love, what they put their trust in, and by their morals (I Timothy 4:12). As a ministry of Immanuel Baptist Church, we also seek to develop in every teenager a passion for God, a passion for people, and a passion for service (I John 5:1-5)
Live a life that commands people to notice your character, not your age.
Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.
I Timothy 4:12
Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Chirst is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well. This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out his commands. In fact, this is love for God: to obey his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.
I John 5:1-5
